Wow. And you people in CA think $7/gal gas is expensive, wait ‘til you see what happens to your taxes.
I really love California. It really saddens me to see what
the Leftists have done to it.
While we talk about surpluses and cash on hand, we don’t
talk about California’s debt. I have no idea how deep in
debt we are. We may in fact not be in debt, but I believe

Gezzz
Hmmm. Didn’t see that coming.

Is the federal government obligated to pay for it.

and we’re ALL paying for them...
My ancient mother (she died at age 99 1/2) having lived and worked in California for three quarters of a century. During her last illness I tried to get some help for her from any kind of California government agency. Her Social Security checks made her too wealthy to qualify. Everyone was very nice and apologized but nothing could be done. She ended up dying before she was completely broke, which was the only way she could qualify for any kind of assistance.
She paid taxes to California for 75 years and no help was offered to her in her final months. Someone comes in from Mexico illegally and they get all the medical help they need. Doesn’t seem quite right to me.
