Yes you should care. Spain is a very good bellwether country as to general European opinion. And what the heck have you got against Spain?

Nothing. I love Spain, spent a little time there. My best friend's wife is from Madrid.

But it's Spain, not America, and if you don't know what i mean by that, then further discussion is fruitless.

And, if Europe is so unified, why do we need to be involved?
