Nothing. I love Spain, spent a little time there. My best friend's wife is from Madrid.

But it's Spain, not America, and if you don't know what i mean by that, then further discussion is fruitless.

And, if Europe is so unified, why do we need to be involved?

The original argument for US involvement was simply to keep the Soviets from rolling in. Later it was seen that it also kept the Euros from fighting each other, which was their favorite activity once upon a time.

I know Spain from an industrial POV, besides being ethnically Spanish. I have to say you have no idea what you’re talking about. And I have lived in the US for forty years - in your vital industries, including aerospace. I have been on the factory floors of ALL your major military contractors, up to SpaceX.
