A California state lawmaker said that parents at school board meetings need to learn "a lesson" during a committee meeting discussing a bill focused on creating more transparency in public school curriculum.
California State Senator Connie Leyva made the comment in response to Senator Melissa Melendez's speech on Wednesday in support of her bill, SB-1045 which is aimed at making public school curriculum available for parents to view easily.

Of course it is...I'm a CA native. The big cities and population centers out number rural CA probably 6 to 1. It's a done deal.
Melissa Melendez is MTG of the California Senate.
I wouldn’t have a problem with it if she was talking about all people at the meetings. However, we know she is only addressing those with a certain viewpoint.
That clip from Hunt for Red October with the political guy who says something like “it’s gonna get out of hand and then there will be big trouble” or something.
Public school groomers.
She’s for killing babies but is concerned about the manners of parents? Good grief.
Amazing the arrogance of these “public servants”!
It’s getting pretty close to getting those pitchforks out.
These Stalin midgets think they were elected because the voters wanted to be subjugated by them, elect new mommies. Democrats believe that public school never ends after high school. The state becomes their parents; who would then coddle them and change their diapers; program their thoughts and command their lives for the benefit of the state. They would live out their lives as part of the collective conscious of the states central will. Democrats fear self-responsibility. They would rather suck their thumbs than live purposeful and productive lives in pursuit of self-interests.
A face begging to be slapped.
She’s got the “Karen” hairdo for sure.
That was Fred Thompson playing a deputy admiral. He said “this is going to get out of hand and we’ll be lucky to live through it.”
So, MY patience has worn thin and I am going to suffer and watch everyone else suffer as well. Majorie Taylor Greene could not light a candle to what I would tell them in DC and money nor anything could buy me off.
That is an absolutely true statement now. They know they have pushed it too far and now they HAVE to crush the opposition. Few people just don't know what to do about that right now. I do, but no support.
I spend a lot of time there. It’s very odd. I interact with many people that are quite agreeable and actually have reasonable opinions on many topics. They even make fun of a lot of Democrat positions. However, many still vote for Democrats! They often say it is because the Republicans are worse.
I think it there is a shift slowly taking place though. I have this prediction that one day in 10 -12 years a lot of old rich white lefty elitist ladies in California are going to wake up in shock when there is a Republican landslide comprised of black, Hispanic, and Asian candidates.
‘k, MAYbe my bad ,
but still.
The cowardly Republicans let their brand get ruined by the Democrats by never fighting back against the smears and lies.
Californicata democrats need a lesson too, administered with lead.
True. Also a CA native, and my family has lived here for 140 years. I haven’t done the research recently but last time I posted on the issue last year, GOP had a majority or plurality of registration in26 of 58 counties. I agree that the population centers are vastly overwhelmingly rat. My point is some progress can be made on the margins in this election, which is about the best that can be hoped for. PS: planning to abandon the glorious state of my birth when can retire in about 5 years. It’s beyond a pity what rat governance has done to this place.
So the article literally shows the majority of people in California are fighting back against this nonsense but you blame the whole state anyways like the good little communist propagandist that you are
Democrat even cheat in the big cities: Why would places like LA need to have mandates unless they knew the majority of people there refused to go along?
