Imagine the hellfire that would rain down on a suburbanite who fired ONE round in his nice suburban neighborhood? He’d be nailed for “Discharging within city limits.”

Recall the couple in St. Louis who were charged with felonies for displaying weapons a crowd of ‘mostly peaceful’ protesters who broke into their gated neighborhood.

She’ll be reelected in a land slide...black and a democrat. The only upside is that the overwhelming majority of people being shot are also democrats.

You’re right! I forgot about that St. Louis case. And it didn’t even require the McCloskeys to fire a single round, did it? The lousy Marxis DA charged them “brandishing” to protect their property from the lawless mob that the police wouldn’t stop.

Marxist DAs ruin the lives of people trying to protect their property with felony charges.

The same Marxist DAs won’t charge people with felonies who fire SIXTY EIGHT rounds.

“A nation of colorblind laws” — Ha!

Soros figured out he could buy city and county DAs a lot cheaper than buying Congressional seats and do a lot more damage to the country.

Yet the solution to this madness is to make it harder for law abiding citizens to own firearms.

What Chicago needs is more gun control laws that can be ignored by perps and prosecutors alike!

“in the 300 block of West Chestnut Street”

This is not a ghetto shootout. This is a pretty high end area, where people are paying upwards of $2500/mo rent for a vintage 2 bedroom apartment, and it’s about a block away from the John Hancock building, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Water Tower Place, and high end hotels.

Best solution: provide unlimited arms and ammunition and let them fight to the finish. Then imprison everyone left.

68 rounds? Where did the perp find that much ammo to steal?
