“What the hell is going on in Russia?” is the kind of headline you write when there’s so much weird stuff going on that it’s impossible to summarize it cleverly.
Maybe you’ll find this catchier: There’s a lot of stuff getting blown up in Russia, and it might not just be the Ukrainians blowing it up.
The weirdness got going in a normal way, with reports earlier this week of Ukraine’s “embrace of the British special forces model” to strike targets inside Russia that the regular Army (or even Ukraine’s inadequate Air Force) could never reach.
The Washington Examiner’s Tom Rogan reported that a major oil depot was hit on Monday in Bryansk, more than 60 miles inside Russia’s border with Ukraine. That’s outside the range of most of Ukraine’s drones.
While interesting, it isn’t exactly a “what the hell?” moment. British troops have been training Ukraine’s special operators since Russia annexed Ukraine and armed insurgents in Ukraine’s Donbas region back in 2014.
Two more such attacks were reported the next day...

At nearly the same time, Russia’s largest chemical plant burned to the ground in Kineshma, about 150 miles east of Moscow.
Who knows? It's a riddle inside a puzzle wrapped in an enigma.
Sounds like war
Is this a new kind of war where your opponent isn’t allowed to strike back?
CC
There have been a large number of massive forest fires in Russia lately since the war began, with the result of many towns and residences destroyed. Russians are ill-equipped to fight the fires which are ongoing. Speculation that these are not coincidences.
Ukrainians have their commandos and spies too.
I don’t know but the I’d kinda like to ask the same question of the USA.
“The Washington Examiner’s Tom Rogan reported that a major oil depot was hit on Monday in Bryansk, more than 60 miles inside Russia’s border with Ukraine. That’s outside the range of most of Ukraine’s drones. “
Sounds like London is about to find out that it’s in range of Moscow.
Maybe some of those Russian speaking Ukrainians aren’t crazy about Russians.
We’re having a bad early fire season here in New Mexico, sometimes it’s never determined how they start.
Funny you should mention this.
Didn’t the US have massive fires on the west cost say around 2020?
The skies in San Francisco turned dark?
And there was massive unrest?
And then we get a potato for a president and all the fires and riots went away?
All the riots?
Police magically stopped killing black people without reason?
Well that’s odd, you’d think maybe Soros and company sent their “army” to Russia.
I think some of it is special forces and some of it is long range stealth drones.
We’re also not sure how the Ukrainian population as a whole feels about the army killing their Russian relatives. It’s pry about as popular as the Civil War was in this country.
Could be network of the Russian parents that have lost their sons & the Kremlin refuses to answer them
Interesting observations.
I have long pondered this possibility. For the cost of a Bic and a dude willing to do it you could cost a country billions.
That’s a hell of a ROI.
Also, imagine paying a dude in the Government $50k to grab a coworkers’s ass at work. Then, forever more all 4 million employees take four hours of training every year to prevent sexual harassment in the workforce.
That’s a hell of an ROI. If I was an adversary I’d be doing that to the extent possible.
British Special Forces will “fight to the last Ukrainian”! Why? It’s easy
Agreed, and let me adjust my TIN FOIL HAT.
Extraterrestrials shape-shifted to appear human SHOULD be contemplated. Think 'Body Snatchers'. There's too much INEXPLICABLE and bizarre stuff happening all at once. IT'S OVERWHELMING!
ARE WE 100% SURE THE INVADERS THROUGH OUR SOUTHERN BORDER ARE ACTUALLY HUMAN BEINGS? Would be a very clever way for the Derp State Cabal to inundate us with REAL aliens and have it be plausible AND TOLERATED.
I think you touched on it, they don’t have good response
teams for forest fires.
I read not long ago fires are not uncommon this time of year
there, but it’s so hard to know what is truth and what is
slanted for advantage, that it’s nearly impossible to make
anything of this or other things happening.
“What the hell is going on in Russia?”
Maybe it is the same kind of extremely rare and isolated incidents that seem to be happening at American food processing plants.
