In some locations.

It depends where.
Remember, if the food supply runs out that means the fuel is gone too.

Getting to food rich locations is a huge problem without transportation.

Suburban areas, yes, everyone will be hunting and stealing and looting.

Very rural locations will be safe and left alone.

Sure she will!
No you do not want flying carp, walleye and trout!

My brother just moved to the UP.
Retiring. Said he liked snow. (He did his research.)

I’m 53 miles south of the Bridge.

Gaylord is the main city and county seat for me.

On average, 12 freakin’ feet of snow a year here.

Your brother is going to learn a lot in the next couple of years.

I was a city boy (Detroit) decided to take this challenge and escape the city and hoards of people.

The things I thought I knew where plentiful.

Have a great day.

Yes, they are! But some FReepers don't see cats that way, and I didn't feel like arguing. Even people who don't like cats understand that they're good for rodent control.

But, yes. Nothing like a warm snuggly kitty in your lap!!!

“Things that we will use, they won’t be wasted.”

That’s what I do. Stock up on items we routinely use so the stock gets rotated.
