Raising taxes will only raise prices even more either he’s really stupid or he wants the economy to fall which I don’t think will work out the way he thinks it will
Yeah I should’ve figured that when they took asset forfeiture international by simply taking stuff that belongs to Russia under the guise of sanctions
So the answer is to give the fedgov more of our money?

America doesn’t produce anything anymore. Globalism has ruined America. People have gotten fat and lazy wanting handouts from criminals in DC who have been creating the destruction for many years.
We even send food to China to be processed and imported back into America.
We use pieces and parts that used to be made in America that are now made in China and take months to get shipped here so some poor person can stand in a steel building(probably made from Chinese steel) and assemble Chinese goods. When done, they slap Made In America on it. LOL
We don’t do anything to grow. We consume. The govenment is in the process of consuming and eliminating us.
All of this is so wrong.
Democrats.. whatever is needed to fix something broken, do the exact opposite, make it worse then blame the opposition.
Schumer the tumor always links Democrat priorities (raising taxes) to some desired outcome (reducing inflation). It’s a non sequitur.

The democrats know that most of their voters are low information, economically challenged people that believe all their woes are because of rich people. Schumer knows, but it won’t hurt him or his donors, so he doesn’t care.
The Dems will repeat “Raise Taxes” over and over until they have groomed enough people , LOL
It will fix inflation, actually. You can’t spend more money on goods and services if you are forced to do without.
