What are you talking about? We were arming Britain steadily from 1939 to the end of the war, and the USSR from July, 1941 until the end of the war (both were fighting German during those periods). Moreover, the US Merchant Marine crewed the supply ships, and were in fact in combat while doing so. And that was BEFORE the US formally entered the war.
FDR could not officially involve the American people, as combatants, until after PH.
If this administration tries to involve the American people, as combatants, in a war with Russia, as they seem determined to do, they will not enjoy the support of the American public. Not by a long shot.
The rule of thumb of proxy wars was that they stayed ‘in country’. The Soviets didn’t supply the NVA with tools to attack the U.S directly in the Vietnam war. Like wise, the U.S didn’t provide tools for the rags to attack the Soviet Union directly. This current conflict is not a proxy war. The U.S is supplying weapons and providing intelligence that enables direct attacks on Russia itself. It is therefore actively a combatant. Neocon freaks think they can win nuclear wars

I looked for the original news articles on the downed plane on Bing, Google and Duckduckgo. I couldn’t find any news of it going back to January, before the war. Can anybody post a link to a news story from when the plane was shot down? Did the plane even exist?

I honestly believe that any intelligence sharing was done by military intelligence agencies. The whole “5 eyes” group is dominated by the diplomatic corps and doesn’t care about people or especially soldiers lives. The diplomats only see to care about “properly brokered agreements.”
So the question I have is why is NBC releasing this story? Ideas anyone?
I always get confused... isn’t it CBS that’s CIA Broadcasting Network, and ABC is for the State Dept... or is it NBC ? So who’s in charge of this story, surely it’s not NBC.
