That’s not a debate.
Dr. Zama, who is also running for governor, posted this on his FB page:
“I’ve participated in at least 14 forums/debates since Jan. including last week’s debate in Gettysburg that several candidates skipped.
Unfortunately, with at least a quarter to a third of likely voters still undecided, I am being shut out of the most widely broadcast debate of the election on Wednesday.
Texas-based media corporation Nexstar - which owns a significant amount of the network television stations in PA, will not allow me to participate in the ‘debate’ they are broadcasting statewide.”
Five of the Republican candidates debated last night.
Barnette, Bartos, 0z, Sands and McCormick.
I watched it. What did you think?
Why do the senate & gubernatorial races have to be such a mess?!
Leave it to the GOP-elite to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...
I liked Bartos the best. He gave good answers about the issues and not, like he said, the others who were all me,me,me.
Carla Sands would get my second place.
The one last night was very good. And very well run.
At one point they stopped to admonish Barnette, who had been repeatedly talking too long and interrupting others.
Fair moderators an good questions.
We thought Bartos & Carla Sands were very good at the Tea Party forum, especially Carla. Did you ever hear Joe Gale speak? He was very tough on Mastriano.
Carla Sands did a very good job last night in the Senate candidates’ debate. She didn’t back down one inch on anything including the First and Second Amendments and the evidence of fraud in the 2020 election. And she was the only one on stage with experience abroad—she was Trump’s ambassador to several Scandinavian countries.
And she is a fighter. She reminded the other candidates and the audience that Republicans will be facing Democrat Fetterman, not some wimpy individual. I liked her spunk and debating skills.
Carla is a very confident person, which is impressive. She gave us her sign at the Tea Party Forum. It’s in our window.
I have never heard Joe Gale speak. And I do not care for Mastriano at all.
Joe Gale calls him Mail-In Mastriano because he voted for Act 77 & gave us Mail-In Voting.
