Mark Levin Returns to Twitter, Cites New Ownership

Conservative talk show host Mark Levin returned to Twitter on Monday following the announcement that billionaire Elon Musk will be buying the social media platform and taking it private.

"Thanks to new ownership, I’ve decided to come back!" Levin tweeted on Monday, his first tweet since Jan. 8, 2021 when he tweeted: "I have suspended my own Twitter account in protest against Twitter’s fascism. I ask all my followers to join me now on Parler and Rumble."

Levin was among a slew of conservatives who left Twitter after it permanently suspended then-President Donald Trump over two tweets it said could be interpreted as inciting more violence following the January 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol building.

Trump himself said he will not be returning to Twitter even if Musk revokes his suspension as part of reforms on free speech. Instead, Trump said, he will stick with his own social media platform Truth Social, which Trump Media and Technology Group CEO Devin Nunes told Newsmax last week is expected to go online fully by the end of this month.

As of early Monday evening, Levin had posted two more tweets, a response to Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, welcoming him back: "Thanks Brother Ted!" — and a tweet noting his was "#1 on Top Tweet of the day! Go Levinites!"

I heard a comment today that Twitter will become like Instagram and Facebook but with free speech.

My sister tells me all the times see ends up in Facebook jail or banned on Twitter. She will like the new Twitter.

Levin was a total Cruzer. That showed me all I needed to know
about his being a “Constitutional” scholar. As it turned out, it was Levin’s father who was a true Constitutional scholar, not Mark. I wrote him off. He hated Trump. Every show was a hissy fit, even after Trump won. I have no respect for Levin.
He cut his own throat and Freepers ditched him! His $$$ racket crashed, as did Cheeto Becks.

I’ve had an account there for a few years and might have used it thrice. Not my cup of tea.

Democrats will flood the site with 'fake conservatives'... to make us look bad.

Remember, democrats are the party of liars, criminals, and shake-down artists: from the lowly con man, to the street thug, to cartel enablers, to the 'big guy' in the White House shaking down China and Ukraine with is drug addicted whore monger son..

All filth - all liars - all in on 'fake hate crimes'....

Levin and Gorka are echoing the Claremont College, Harry Jaffa school of thought. They celebrate the central government supremacy that Lincoln made permanent by force of arms and then wonder how we ended up with a deep state regime that rules over its subjects and serfs.

The seeds of unopposable central government power were planted in the 1860s by reducing the importance of the States and eventually this played out as Anti-Federalists of the 1780s feared that it would. George Mason and Patrick Henry were among the prominent opponents of replacing the Articles with the Constitution and its more powerful national government.

It’s probably inevitable that we would end up with a centralized administrative regime that rules over more and more aspects of our daily lives. The Civil War and Lincoln just hastened the process. Jackson was headed in that same direction thirty years earlier. I don’t know that we should be celebrating and encouraging it though.
