Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal didn’t have many concrete answers for staff about what will happen once Elon Musk takes over the company later this year. During a virtual all-hands call Monday, hours after the company announced it had agreed to be bought by Musk for $44 billion, Agrawal fielded questions on the future of his job, the company’s board, and possible layoffs.
Layoffs aren’t planned “at this time,” Agrawal said, according to a person who heard the remarks and who asked to remain anonymous. Agrawal also said that he’d remain as CEO until the deal’s close, but he didn’t comment about what would happen after that. The company’s board will dissolve once the deal closes, said Brett Taylor, the board’s independent chair.
“There is indeed uncertainty about what will happen after the deal closes,” Agrawal told staff.

I was thinking that Pres. Trump have staff to mirror from his program to twitter, so that it spreads all around.
No idea. I would be surprised if a significant percentage wasn’t.
However, President Trump has said he’s not coming back, so a mirror might feel to close to him. A proxy can “sort of mirror”, but also post original content, or be a lot sharper with President Trump’s enemies than he would be comfortable with.
“Only hard core libtards need worry about getting fired”
That’s everyone.
“ust wanna know how Elon’s gonna make this profitable”
Me too.
What is the bidness model?
Trump bot for Twitter.
Appreciated.
>> Yes, this is the crowd that took the “W” off the computers when #43 won.

I'm guessing that this will coincide with the release of the Android app as well as a much needed web interface. The lack of the latter is holding me back a bit as I hate typing on a tiny phone.
Anyway, now that the iOS waitlist is no more and people are able to download the app and get right on, the Truth Social app has rocketed back to the top of the Apple download rankings for social media apps. By my reckoning, they have been adding about 200,000 users a day to Truth Social since they went to the Rumble Cloud infrastructure on Friday.
Once Trump goes active, look for those numbers to explode.
Lastly, the deal with Elon Musk buying Twitter won't be finalized for as long as six months. This gives Truth Social a window to get themselves on all platforms and to catch up with the Twitters, Facebooks and Instagrams of the world in terms of users and functionality.
And I really hope he sticks with this plan.
