I’d be required to wear a dunce cap and sit in the corner.

Italy got a TON of great press in the 1930s as leftists all over the USA praised their fascist government as the way of the future! Fascism is the best, they told us. Cole Porter even referred to Mussolini as one of the best things ever in his song "Anything Goes". Then Hitler messed it all up and letists had to go back to pretending not to be fascists at heart.
Italy is once again leading the way at making fascism fashionable again for leftists! I'm sure all the usual totalitarian fans will be all for this.

If you had said 400 years I’d probably agree with you. But between the renaissance and the Venetian Republic / empire Italy got some respect after Rome fell, for a while at least.

Snitches get stitches, just saying. Who's going to rat out someone who didn't virtue-whine about their "climate friendly" behavior?
To: aMorePerfectUnion
Yes Bologna has always been run by communists. They’re like the Berkeley of Italy.
