Saratoga County DA drops last charge against Saratoga Springs BLM leader

Lexis Figuereo was charged with disorderly conduct stemming from a July 14, 2021 protest in Saratoga Springs during which he allegedly blocked traffic. Figuereo has maintained that the charge is an attempt to silence his activism.

In a letter addressed to Saratoga Springs City Court Judge Francine Vero, Heggen said the disorderly conduct charge “is supported by considerable video, photographic and eyewitness evidence,” but said her office would not pursue the case after the court dismissed the same charge against activist and Schenectady school board member Jamaica Miles earlier this year.

“This court recently dismissed the case against another participant in the July 14, 2021 incident in the interest of justice,” the letter reads.

“Given the court’s reasoning and decision in that case, we anticipate similar relief is likely in this case. Therefore, my office has determined that the continued prosecution of this disorderly conduct charge does not serve the interest of justice and by this letter we are requesting that the courts dismiss that charge in the interest of justice.”

Soros city judge not enforcing laws. BLM can do anything and not be prosecuted, this is what America has become.

The call Saratoga Springs, little Nantucket, it was once a traditional conservative city, and now is as woke as they come.

Crime was non-existent 10 years ago, now the city is becoming crime ridden. Just following the liberal leftist model, destroying cities one at a time.

Sad. I remember stopping in Saratoga Springs briefly about seven years ago. There was a cute little roadside city park with a giant tree under which Johnny Burgoyne surrendered to Horatio Gates in 1777.

A pleasant middle aged lady came out of a nearby tourist information booth to give my wife and I a charming historical account. We had just toured the battlefield, so it was fun listening to her. She also directed us to the nearby monument which was also quite impressive.

DA kisses Black ass

and Black's claim they are targets of prosecution, yet they never get prosecuted, odd.

The surrender did not take place in the modern city of Saratoga Springs (in 1777, it was only a frontier crossroads near some mineral springs; not officially a village until 1826, nor a city until 1915). The historic marker is in what is now the town of Schuylerville eight miles east, where Fish Creek flows into the Hudson River. About ten miles north of the National Historic Site of the battlefields.
