I hear ya on the wind going away. We don’t have all the sand blowing around like y’all do but it’s still irritating when it goes on and on and on. It’s been blowing every day here for over a week though it dies down every night.
I was tickled pink to get to ride in the APC. The others rode in it last year when the guy who owns it took it up there before we reopened. I wasn’t there that day and was so disappointed. Yesterday made up for it though.
Boss Man took that shot just before we took off. We rode around the field in back of the museum and raced up and down the gravel parking lot on the other side of the building several times. It hadn’t been driven since last year and needed the ‘cobwebs’ blown out. :-)
Then came back up and went out into the parking lot in front and he parked it close to the road for a while.
It was a little while before my feet touched the ground again. LOL That ride was so much fun.
It looked like a blast! I wouldn’t have had to be asked twice to ride in it. Those moments don’t come around very often. With pigtails flying! :)
