These investigations lead to a single low level flunky getting embarrassed nationally, no other consequences for them. Then they go away and we're told there was just one guy who did anything wrong, and it wasn't really that bad anyway.
So far this is going right according to script. I'll believe something big is coming when it actually comes, and not before.
