Chapek’s flip-flop has drawn heat from critics on both the left and right. A letter from Pixar employees slammed Disney’s “hollow” claims of support while some corporate workers staged a walkout, among other dustups. Meanwhile, Florida lawmakers approved a bill on Wednesday to strip Disney World of its special self-governing status over its public opposition to the “Don’t Say Gay” law.
“I don’t think this would have happened under Iger,” said a source who has worked for both men. “Disney now finds itself in the middle of a culture war and it shouldn’t have been there.”
“Chapek’s contract is up in a year and a half,” another Hollywood executive added. “I’d be worried.”

Chapek’s problem is that after staying “neutral” before the bill was passed, he then prostrated himself before the leftist wackos, overcompensating and throwing the company into the eye of the storm. The slicker (but just as contemptible) way to handle it would have been to release some generically worded statement while the bill was pending subtlety opposing it and affirming the company’s commitment to “diversity” or whatever. The leftist babies would have gotten their pacifier and the rest of us would have probably bitched about it and then forgotten about it within the next six months.

I’m also very eager to have the debate with the left. We believe that as long as parents feed their kids, don’t abuse or neglect them they have the right to raise the offspring that they created in accordance with their values. The state does not have the right to co-opt that.
Chapek inherited a toxic SJW infested culture created by Bob Iger. He's barely been in charge a year, if that. He tried to steer clear of this mess but the SJW gay absolutists mutinied. Chapek may take the hit but Iger created and actively cultivated the conditions that made this inevitable. If he comes back Disney is doomed. Hmmm. That's actually sounding okay these days...
This whole thing is Iger’s fault to begin with for leading Disney down the woke path.

Yes, it is indeed, however the real reason Disney is pushing the queer agenda and grooming children is because their biggest demographic is not children or families. It is the queer crowd. Queers, sexual deviants, pedophiles and sexual predators.
To wit an article posted on FR earlier today noted that 67% of visitors to Disney theme parks, movies and cruises are adults without children. No breakdown between straight and queer, but I would venture to guess it’s at least 50% queers, and the children are eye candy and icing on the cake for them.
Your children are one of Disney’s products/selling points to get queers to spend their money at Disney. So Disney has made a conscious and calculated business decision, and an evil one to boot, and that is to cater to their queer customer base.
