A Taiwanese news channel has broadcast "by mistake" a fictional news alert that said Chinese armed forces had launched an invasion, firing missiles at cities and ports surrounding the capital, Taipei.

Somebody scheduled the studio time
Somebody was tapped to perform in a serious tone
Somebody was responsible for storing the report safely nowhere near the live play queue
It was storing the skit safely part that somebody f’d up.
I know people that live there. I was told they are expecting it.
So, how many Red Chinese flags did viewers raise?
“oh- sorry about that”

And it is for that reason that I fully expect them to roll over in a day.
