House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is blaming the Federal Aviation Administration after the US Capitol Police evacuated the Capitol complex in an embarrassing mix-up over a plane carrying US military skydivers.
Capitol Police on Wednesday evening falsely identified the small aircraft as a 'probable threat,' when in reality it was carrying an Army Golden Knights demonstration team parachuting into a nearby Washington Nationals game.
'The Federal Aviation Administrationās apparent failure to notify Capitol Police of the pre-planned flyover Nationals Stadium is outrageous and inexcusable,' Pelosi said in a statement.
The unnecessary panic caused by this apparent negligence was particularly harmful for Members, staff and institutional workers still grappling with the trauma of the attack on their workplace on January 6th,' the top House Democrat added.
A spokesperson for the FAA told DailyMail.com in a statement: 'The FAA takes its role in protecting the national airspace seriously and will conduct a thorough and expeditious review of the events this evening and share updates.'
'We know our actions affect others, especially in our nation's capital region, and we must communicate early and often with our law enforcement partners,' the agency added.

The order went out from the Whitehouse to shoot the aircraft down but the Air Force was too busy with its woke training routine to put any interceptors up. It would have interfered with their mission.

Imo, she is trying to paint CHP as being on the opposite side of the fence from her, as she knows her 1/6 theatre using them as her personal crisis actor guild is being smoked out of the hidey hole.
I would not be surprised to learn she knew of the army/parachute gig and decided to use it and the CHP in an encore wag the dog production to try and cover her stanky butt from future prosecutions when her coup involvement gets uncovered.

Proving yet again that the Capital Police are a bunch of inadequate mall cops. Nancy knew this and knew they would mismanage the Jan 6th rally and things would get out of hand. That’s why she turned down multiple requests for the national guard.
The friggin Capital Police were waving rally goers into the Capital for cryin out loud.
