That is so strange, it being cloudy in town. The airport isn’t all that far away and the sun’s been blazing there all day. There were clouds in that direction but it looked like they were beyond the city. Crazy weather up there. LOL
They’ve planted something but we never get a chance to talk to the guys when they’re here. My money’s on it being cotton again. Once they get a taste of that gubmint subsidy money, they don’t like to give it up. *sigh*
An hour earlier? I’d love to see the condition of YOUR alarm clock when it goes off that early. LOL! But you’ll be excited to get there and see the new stuff before the public does.
Windy. Ack. We were not blessed with that problem today. Friday, yes. And tomorrow will be 97....hotter than the 95 we ended up with today. I guess summer is here?
I am definitely NOT looking forward to waking up that early. I’m hard-pressed to get up at my regular museum day time as it is. But it’s just the one time and I’ll get through it. I don’t think I’ll have trouble going to sleep early Friday night! LOL
Dang, that’s just way too hot for this time of year. I know you’re dreading summer when it gets here.
I am dreading it. And, sometimes May is our hottest month. Comes up way too soon.
At least it’s a one-off for getting up that early. We can hope. LOL!

The saving grace is you don’t have humidity to go along with the heat. It would really be unbearable if you did.
Fortunately I’ve gotten good sleep the last two nights and hope to again tonight. Gives me a head start.

Oh, if this came with humidity...I don’t know how we’d exist. We can always count on it feeling pretty good at night, even when it’s 100 outside during the day.
LOL! Why am I not surprised? I gather you got very little sleep the past couple of nights.
We took the tent down early Monday afternoon after freezing again. Turnout is low for local primaries and there wasn’t any reason to make ourselves sick sitting in crummy weather. We’ll set it back up for election day in a couple of weeks.
We sometimes get your temps WITH humidity and it’s not only misery, it’s dangerous. And the nights don’t cool off.
It’s not bad outside tonight at 66 but it’s real windy. I hear gusts every now and then and it has to blow pretty hard for me to hear it in this house.
It’s a shame the wind is still blowing. That 66 degrees would feel pretty good for a nice breath of fresh ai.....oops. Pollen. Scratch that. LOL. You can’t catch a break!

Yes, very little sleep, but it paid off really well today. I had no glitches today at all.
Today would have been perfect for open windows with the comfy temps. We’ll still have comfy days after the trees have stopped having a field day as they wake up from winter’s sleep. The worst will be over soon. :-)
I love open window/door days. It makes the house seem fresher somehow. Now we have the AC and closed up everything. The coming weekend might be better. We’ll see.
WOOHOO!!!! No glitches today! That doesn’t happen very often. You can go to sleep with a smile on your face.
The weather hasn’t been too bad the last two days. Monday was awful though. It’s just been so windy and that makes it feel cooler, especially when you’re sitting in it for several hours. One of the women said she felt like she was coming down with a cold so the decision was made to tear the tent down Monday instead of waiting until today to do it.
I love them too. But I’m careful when I open them so poor little Bella doesn’t have more trouble with her asthma than she already has. It’s not just my allergies that are a bother.
Fingers crossed for luck that it’s better there this weekend. Y’all need all the breaks you can get.
Every day under 90 degrees is a gift right now. LOL!
I think I’d better finish this show and then hit the pillows. See ya tomorrow. You probably need some extra sleep too.
