Yep. All over. If bored head out with a flashlight and scan for eyes at night. Most are harmless and have been taken out by the long history of gator harvesting. All the really, huge gators come out of other states these days, Alabama of note.
I took my scouts to the springs near the Suwanee River. We swam there several hours. My scouts climbed out on a tree extending out over the river. There arose a shout.......Manatee!! Manatee!! Everybody came to look
