The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Tuesday said it would appeal a ruling nullifying the federal mandate for masks on planes and other public transit if the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) determines that a “mandatory order remains necessary for the public’s health.”
“The Department continues to believe that the order requiring masking in the transportation corridor is a valid exercise of the authority Congress has given CDC to protect the public health,” DOJ spokesman Anthony Coley said in a statement Tuesday evening. “That is an important authority the Department will continue to work to preserve.”

Lol. This isn’t constitutional is it. Seems they are over reaching every chance they get. Just like biden saying he could mandate the masks all over USA. They tried to get Trump to do this stuff and he laughed and said yeah I bet you want me too. Break the constitution so they can impeach him again. It’s up to the states. The president can advise states but can’t make them.
The very ruling of the judge stated that the CDC wasn’t a federal agency and had no legal basis for issuing mandates (about anything).

The idea of the mask is to stop breath moisture holding the virus.

We have people like DeSantis that’s slowly using his power to help. But I think a lot of citizens think that biden and them actually have these powers.

The CDC’s “medically necessary” response will be whatever it is told to be by the people telling Joe Biden what to say.
The CDC is a bunch of political shills who, on occasion, dabble in real medicine.
Why is a decision not immediate? According to the CDC and the administration, this is a world threatening crisis. The federales are looking for a corrupt federal judge & they don’t know exactly how long that will take.
Is it me or is the Biden Administration doing everything in their power to be on the wrong side of every issue that effects normal Americans? I have never witnessed such stubborn adherence to a train wreck in policy. The CDC doesn’t have the power to mandate, only Congress does.
