Zelensky said three thousand Ukrainian soldiers are dead the other day that doesn’t include civilians or the Russian casualties.

That’s a heck of a lot of lives.

But I think Trump may be suggesting mushroom clouds in Ukraine’s future?

Others have said as much pointing an accusing finger at Putin.

"It doesn't make sense...."

It does if you realize and accept that evil people in charge of several countries are conspiring to start a long running global crisis.

Our intelligence agencies are part of it.

Hillary Clinton. Hmmm, never met the cackling old witch but she has always impressed me as a cruel, calculating, soulless creature, willing to say or do anything to get what she wants.

She’s the type of person that will be remembered long, long, long after she is dead an buried, but not for anything moral or heroic. Rather she will be remembered as a 21st century Lizzie Borden.

First they have to decide which pronouns to call each other ...

The Ukrainians didn't accept the Russians' suggestion: "You stupid sons of bitches" ...

“returned home”

Many ethnic Russians have long lived in the areas in dispute.

Around 1790 Russia seized many of the areas off Turkey. Turkey got some of the areas after the Byzantine Empire fell.

Poland did not free the areas from the Turks, but was whittled down by Russia.

Americans lived in Texas for just about a decade before the Alamo incident. The US government had the right to protect Americans in the new Republic of Texas.

Pay attention. The Russian Federation by an overwhelming majority voted for this military action.

80 percent support Putin. The country will not back down....if Zelensky were honorable he be at the table but he is a pawn.

This is a dumb, uninformed thread. The time to reach a deal was when Putin told the west that Ukraine joining NATO would be a red line. The west told him in no uncertain terms he could not dictate to other countries the relationships they enter into and to take a hike.

That’s when the war could have been stopped - not now. It’s too late. The west will continue to use Ukraine as a proxy until the last Ukrainian is gone. After all, the big guy still needs his 10%.

Rather she will be remembered as a 21st century Lizzie Borden.

Those who think in Bible know she is either Jezebel or Athaliah, not quite shrewd enough to be Herodias.

The Ukrainian government was not able to protect ethnic Russians from what Russia calls neo-Nazis.

Ethnic Russians in Ukraine were faced with much like blacks did with the KKK.

Unlike southern blacks, the ethnic Russians forcibly rebelled.

That is my understanding.

It would have made sense if the Roman Empire had sat down and negotiated with the countries they were going to enslave.

Exactly.

Anyone suggesting that the correct end is anything other than Russia getting the hell out is not better than someone openly supporting Stalin in the late 1940s or early 1950s, or making excuses for Mao in the 1960s

Ukraine is not in charge. George Soros and company are in charge. They need a global nuclear war for their Great Reset plans to come to fruition.

Never mind this is like Texas invading Oklahoma.

US warmongers know what is best for them.

It doesn't make sense that Russia and Ukraine aren't sitting down and working out some kind of agreement

Actually it makes perfect sense if you look at it from this perspective:

Everyday the war goes on, Zelensky becomes a bigger "hero" to the world, gets wined and dined by the elites, has hordes of bigger and better weapons pumped into his country, showered with billions in funding. Hell, when all is said and done, the West will likely foot the bill to rebuild every house and building in the entire country and modernize his military to boot. So why would he want to end it all by giving an inch? In fact he's gone from offering Russia pretty much everything they were demanding the first weeks of the war to now saying Ukraine plans to even take Crimea back before it will agree to peace talks.

Then you have Putin, in reality, at this point he would likely very much like to end the war. It has been a complete debacle militarily and economically. But he can't appear to lose, he has to get SOMETHING. A flat out retreat would likely be the end of him in Russia, and it would only embolden NATO further. In a way Russia's very future depends on him coming out of it with at least a minimal victory.

So there you have it, one leader (Zelensky) who has absolutely no reason or desire to give an inch, and another (Putin) who MUST have at least an inch before he can declare victory and leave.

That for sure. Looks like she will be allowed to depart with joy in her heart about it, too.

The problem is that the boundary lines are now going to be set by brute military force, and not by plebescite or ethnic survey.

And there is going to be massive ethnic displacement.

The only Russians in 2023 Kiev may be a few old folks.

Absolutely. Only thing is that the warmongers around here would be very bored sitting behind their puters with no shootin’ and killins’ going on somewhere so they can play war expert.
