Because they adopted Ukrainian children.
Some friends of mine also have adopted five kids from Ukraine. Two are special needs and would have been dead by now had they not adopted them.
It’s not uncommon to adopt from eastern Europe. They don’t have the twisted abort your mistakes mentality they push in America.
What does that mean, exactly? They adopted orphans from Ukraine and gave them a family? That bothers you?
