Therein is the problem.
They are and will pay the price for this.
We stand to gain economically, so do the Europeans, and the cost to us, at least in the immediate is small. But Ukraine will be in pieces, thousands will be dead, millions will be displaced... The recovery will take many years and the outcome is likely the same: No NATO for Ukraine.
We gambled with another nations future, the very lives of its citizens for an economic end.
Mr Z is our boy. He does what we tell him. Did we really have the right to do this? Was this really the right thing to do?
Sadly, I am convinced America's ruling elites in DC are now all evil. Ukraine was pushed into conflict with Russia for their schemes. America used to be a Christian nation, not a globalist empire.
In fact, Zelenskyy was perceived as softer on Russia than the other candidates during the election, and made efforts to attempt to appease the Russkies and end the constant shooting/artillery out of Donetsk into Ukraine (which the Russians claim was the other way around, since they are the Islamic terrorists of the Slavic world).
Zelenskyy became what he is now after the Russkies massed a gigantic army on the border, lying to us claiming it was just military training, and then invaded for no reason.
Now Ukraine will not surrender any piece of its land, all thanks to Putin.
