I’ve been saying this for weeks: I am baffled by the fact that otherwise rational and intelligent FReepers have become complete morons over this war. Suddenly, they have forgotten how to think, they no longer understand history, they’re okay with a foreign power invading a sovereign nation, they think it’s no big deal that Russians are raping children and murdering civilians, and they honestly believe that “Neo-Nazis” are in charge everywhere in Ukraine even though the president is Jewish.

Well, since you're having trouble understanding things, let me help you out:

We currently have an individual acting as president of the United States who was installed through a stolen election, who is clearly senile, who regularly molests children ON CAMERA and appears to have sexually molested his own children and grandchildren, who regularly meddled in Ukrainian governmental affairs when he was vice-president and has a son who was receiving what could only be interpreted as dirty money from Ukrainian businesses for years, who now declares that we all must embrace the possibility of WWIII in order to intervene in this Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Meanwhile, the main cadre of war drum-beaters is the same US Congress that voted to impeach President Trump TWICE on evidence provided by our corrupt intelligence agencies and proven to be false.

At the same time, our horribly corrupt and incompetent news media, which is dutifully reporting how badly the Russian army is getting massacred at the same time that they are supposedly oppressing and raping the entirety of Ukraine, was so diligent in its research and reporting of events in Ukraine that they couldn't even figure out that the Ukrainian footage of the glorious "Ghost of Kiev" fighter ace knocking Russian pilots out of the sky was actually footage from a f**king video game.

And that's just the first few inches of the rabbit hole.

But sure, you go ahead on and put that Ukraine flag proudly on your Twitter account.

And by the way, George Soros is also Jewish, and that dude is Nazi as hell.

Facts are hard to some by. Is this a unwarranted attack, or did years of provocation result in a just action to protect civilians? We could shout at each other for hours.

The larger question is how this affects us here. We have a media that is overwhelmingly on one side of this war, a regime with suspicious ties to both, and a world of elites who see this as the perfect crisis to rebuild the world the way they think it should be.
