The leftists took that as a challenge to make the cure (lockdowns, mandates, business restrictions) the worst this country has ever seen.
If they thought they could get away with it they would do the same or worse than the CCP are doing in China.

The Chinese (and the Aussies) surrendered their guns.

That's why all of us come to FR for the best crowd-sourced news aggregation on the web. All of our fellow FReepers are scouring the web looking for those "alternative sources of information" and posting them here. That's probably why FReepers never succumbed to all the nonstop fear saber rattling. We were armed with the facts and knew what to do to take care of ourselves.

What scares me is the vast gullibility of the American masses, too many of whom succumbed to irrational fear, indeed a mass psychosis.
