BEIJING -- China on Thursday said it would reject “any pressure or coercion” over its relationship with Russia, in response to a call from U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen for Beijing to use its “special relationship with Russia” to persuade Moscow to end the war in Ukraine.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian defended China’s position on the war, saying it had “made considerable efforts to de-escalate the situation, defuse the crisis and rebuild peace."
“China is playing a constructive role in the Ukraine issue," Zhao told reporters at a daily briefing.
“We oppose unfounded accusations and suspicions against China, nor will we accept any pressure or coercion," Zhao said. “Time will tell that China’s claims are on the right side of history.
Zhao reiterated China's stance that it “maintains that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries should be respected and safeguarded," and that “Ukraine’s sovereignty and security should be preserved, and Russia’s legitimate security concerns should also be respected."
Wednesday, Yellen said Beijing “cannot expect the global community to respect its appeals to the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity in the future if it does not respect these principles now.”
“The world’s attitude towards China and its willingness to embrace further economic integration may well be affected by China’s reaction to our call for resolute action on Russia,” she said...(Yellen’s speech at the Atlantic Council)

China’s spreading lockdowns are being used as a political tool to disrupt our supply chains here in the US. In a normal word we would use this opportunity to completely decouple from China, but since they own Biden that won’t happen.
Hopefully the ChiCom real estate sector plummets further during these times - that’s 30% of their GDP.

They’ve already sanctioned some in China however the heavy sanctions will never happen unless we see Victoria Nuland meeting with China - to my knowledge that hasn’t happened yet.

Be careful what you wish for. It’s supposed to be a very large solar flare yet another of these rare occurrences to happen this year and they’re saying this time it could start bringing down electric. Now what do you suppose what happened should our satellites go down do you think that China or maybe Russia would take advantage of that to launch nuclear missiles at us? This gain of function stuff that Fauci was doing in China wow that may very well have already been seen as an act of war.

I’ve read and watched videos about the “Carrington Event”. The YouTube channel “Fascinating Horror” has a good video about it.
