Rumble assured its users Wednesday that it will stick to its "mission to protect a free and open internet" by continuing to allow Russia's state-owned news network RT to post on its platform.
"There is a reason the public has radically turned against both the corporate media and Big Tech: because you have arrogantly claimed for yourselves the power to decide for the public what information they can and cannot be trusted to hear and what views they can and cannot express," Rumble wrote. "By stark contrast, the reason Rumble is growing so rapidly is because we trust adults to make decisions for themselves about what ideas they can express, and we trust them to make up their own minds after hearing all sides."

This upsets you? That is what freedom is bout.
WHy would you think that?
Good.
The one-sided coverage is idiotic.
Thanks for posting!
Getting one side is not helpful. I was missing RT on Telegram, good to know they are still available.
I miss RT Crosstalk - they have such varied EU guests and they stay on topic. Course who knows if they even dare to be a guest with all this Russian banning going on.
I for one believed when they started banning Russia news in the US what were they trying to hide - then when it went to most European countries I knew Victora Nuland was on a roll to make that happen. It was one of her goals to pave the way for all Ukrainian news and of course Zelensky’s video tours.
Thanks Runble. A refreshing alternative to thought control.
Why ever censor anything, except obscenities?
I suspect FR has some Russian trolls posting here too.
So what?
People can sort it out themselves!
I didn’t use Rumble very much until I got the heads up Rumble was Doing Trumps Rallies and then later RT news. Though I had found another source for RT.
I have a serious issue when in times of conflicts one side or the other is banned from news.
.....”People can sort it out themselves!”......
If they want to know what’s going on from both sides of the equation then I agree. But some were already expereincing Russiaphobia from Hillarys press and her teams out there pounding away....and i understand she still has them doing so.
I often wonder how soon some big tech outfit will offer Rumble an offer they can’t refuse in order to shut them down.
“People can sort it out themselves!”
Totally agree
We would not be Lovers of Freedom if we did not listen to those who have different ideas, repulsive ideas, even those who HATE us.
The Right to Know should be embraced. How so much could have been avoided if we knew of the corrupt, diseased condition of our DOJ, FBI, State, CIA, etc. and the CORRUPTION OF THOSE IN CHARGE OF THE AGENCIES.
Good for Rumble. All news should be heard and each person have the chance to sort and filter information. If we only ever hear one side of things then we become mindless drones.
That will never happen. The guy who built Rumble from the ground up explicitly built it “from bare metal”. In other words unlike Parler, he did not rely on the technology or hosting or anything else from any of the Big Tech companies. He did it this way so that Rumble would always be independent of them.
Peter Thiel and others then hopped on board and backed Rumble which was designed to be a Big Tech alternative from the start. Rumble then merged with Dave Rubin’s Locals which was also started explicitly to be a no censorship alternative to Big Tech. Just to be sure that politicians could not lean on them, Rumble is in the process of moving its HQ from Canada where it started, to Florida. Locals has already moved from California to Florida.
This is the kind of thing we need.....whether its Rumble or the Daily Wire starting up with movies and now a shaving company. We need Conservative alternatives to Woke controlled companies. Of course, I’d be open to Elon Musk launching a hostile takeover of Twitter if he intends to do so. We need to pry as much of the high ground as possible away from Leftists.
I had a rough decision when Trump ran for Pres. I was sold on Cruz as others were until the good people here on FR took the time to hear me out and frankly helped me see I needed to look deeper at Trump. ...and so I did.
They saw me posting lots of arguments against Trump and even more for Cruz....and that’s what should be granted to any poster who is sincere about what is true or not -— or even that which might never be known.
Good to know - I hope he gets even better then.
I was just reading an interesting write up about Dorsey as he left twitter....(He's such a weirdo guy)....and got all wrapped up in Bitcoin now. I sometimes think that one is indeed a Guru looking for a cult following. He needs the adulation though he'd never admit it.
As for Musk - I just recently took an interest in taking note of what he's doing and saying beyond Space. He's an interesting stud so I've been paying further attention.
I avoid Youtube whenever possible, using Rumble as my go-to video platform. Most of the political/commentary videos that I watch are available on Rumble( Mark Dice, Bill Whittle, Awaken with JP, Rebel News, Steven Crowder, Tracy Beanz, Stew Peters, Trump rallies, etc).
