Kentucky legislature overrides Democratic governor's veto of legislation to bar biological males from girls' sports

The Kentucky state legislature has overridden Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear's veto of a bill to block biological males from competing in girls' or women's athletics from sixth grade through college.

Beshear had previously issued a veto message in which he pointed to the Kentucky High School Athletic Association's policies regarding transgender participation, which indicate that students must compete based on the gender indicated on their birth certificate unless their gender has been legally reassigned.

"Again, the KHSAA policy requires that a student-athlete who has undergone sex reassignment after puberty must take hormonal therapy in a verifiable manner and for a sufficient length of time to minimize gender-related advantages in competition, and if the student-athlete stops taking hormonal therapy they must participate in the sport consistent with their birth gender," Beshear said in the veto message.

After a certain age that never happens.

The bone and muscle mass are already there.

Defeating Beshear needs to be a top priority for 2023. There will be few races on the ballot that year in the nation - good one for the conservative talk radio circuit, web networks, etc. to focus on. The Ag commissioner Ryan Quarles would probably be a good candidate if he wants to run - he is term limited.

One election at a time, however...let’s get through 2022 first.

After the sh1t we have endured with that corrupt leftist POS throughout the scamdemic, I take pleasure in every overturned veto.

The legislature overturned a couple of other vetos that will piss of the left. Baby Doc Beshear is very beholding to the teachers and gubernment employees unions. They put him in office (with the help of a little vote fraud).

The teachers, cough, cough, “groomers” union has got to be livid that the charter schools funding veto was overridden.

Ditto for the omnibus education bill which has a number of things which are making the “teachers” see red. Lawsuits are already being threatened.

Good for them.

We’ll take victories on this wherever they come from.

“I for one am glad the picked this hill to die on. Death is certain.”

You think women’s athletics is the line too far?

This outcome is a Pyrrhic victory. Our nation has allowed the wholesale murder of babies for half a century. Baby murder around the world is promoted by the American taxpayer. When real investigative journalists uncovered the widespread selling of baby body parts, the government arrested them and not the murderers and human traffickers.

Homosexuals have been allowed to foster and adopt children. Marriage has been redefined to accommodate their perversion. People’s lives are destroyed for merely disagreeing.

Obscenity that was prosecuted up until 1993 is now promoted to minors on regular/mainstream (i.e. not “adult entertainment”) TV channels. Children can also easily access pornography of the most extreme nature on their phones. Most minor teenage girls become accustomed to extreme sexual harassment from their male peers who routinely send digital photos of themselves sexually aroused. This is pretty much ignored by the media and law enforcement. Katy Perry started promoting this behavior more than a decade ago. It is culturally acceptable.

We have lost the culture war. America will end. Those of us who disagree with this type of evil are too cowardly to risk anything that might actually stop it. So, only God will do anything about it. From my reading of history, I do not expect God to rescue America. At this point He is the one whom America would have to be rescued from, and no one is able to do that.

Kentucky, Utah, Kansas, Arkansas,.....have all had to have their legislatures override vetoes by their RINO/Democrat governors and Louisiana would have on Constitutional Carry but the Democrat there just managed to hold it off for another year until he’s out of office.

Red states have GOT to stop electing RINOs and Democrats who are not representative of the views of the state as governor. Add Georgia and North Carolina to that list.

All the crap you outlined are things Dr. Oz promotes. Creepy.

“I do not expect God to rescue America.”

Agree. America was created for a moral people (J. Adams?). We’re not that.
