Former Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former President Donald Trump’s former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows should be prosecuted for voter fraud.
Nicolle Wallace said, “NBC News reports that Mark Meadows was registered to vote at an address that he never lived at. Documentation indicated he lived in Virginia and last voted in the 2021 election there, which would make his legislation in North Carolina against state law.”

Did Meadows actually VOTE from that address or was he simply registered to vote there?
If you move, and register to vote in another district, they don’t automatically un-register you from the previous address until you haven’t voted there in some number of election cycles.

I think this is exactly the issue. He was still registered in NC, but established residency in Virginia and voted there. A big fat nothingburger.

Chief of staff is supposed to vote early.
It takes no more than 30 days to establish residency, with a number of states having same day registration now.
I would think it is legally possible to vote in presidential primaries in different states, but it shouldn’t be.
