Yes-and if more people had an interest in history they would know that all over the Americas at that time, captives taken in tribal warfare and other violent disagreements were enslaved-better than being killed outright, I suppose-or if you were captured in battle by the Aztecs, being made to play that you-lose-you-get-executed basketball game probably wasn’t a good thing, either. Slavery existed in all human society-not a good thing, but a fact-my Spanish ancestors enslaved my Native ancestors in what is now Mexico-so where are my reparations-do I have to go to Cali to get them? This is just another welfare scam-gimmee, gimmee, gimmee...
At least when the Israelis got their reparations from Egypt, it was on their way back home.

California was admitted to the Union in 1850, as a free state.
(So why should Californians pay anything more than they already have, which is their portion of the cost of the War between the States? If we inherit the sins of our fathers, do we also not inherit the blessings of our fathers?)

Will they stop with reparations? NO. What was supposed to be a one time payment will lead to redistribution based solely on race.
