I’m unsure about driving in a “Killed In Action” car no matter how gorgeous it may be.
And dont forget to wedge a half eaten cheesburger into the back seat seam.
Been that way since the 1950s. But the bigger problem is that they think in terms of “how can we cut expenses and meet our financial targets this quarter” instead of “how can we delight the customer so much that he will be a loyal customer of ours for life”.
Next to the ancient chicken nugget, AKA Purina Kid Chow.
Ugh...those two “Car Confections” guys reviewing the car are the worst ever. Jeremy Clarkson’s reputation is secure.
I think Unions destroyed our manufacturing, people got lazy, expected professional wages to screw in bolts on an assembly line, etc. etc. We’re going the way of the Roman Empire. Collapse.
By all means.
My daughter was. Then she looked at mini-vans, and is VERY glad she made the move. Whenever my wife sees a guy driving a big SUV she always says, “Big car, small d...” But truth be told, it’s usually women driving big SUV’s, except on the open road on road trips they are almost all driven by men.
They come with a 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty.
Back in the day we had a Mazda MPV mini-van and we drove the crap out of it, almost 200K miles before we traded it. My youngest son had his booster seat when he was a toddler and we would be driving along and we would hear crunch-crunch-crunch from him and I would say to my wife, Stephen is eating something and we didn’t bring anything from the breakfast/lunch etc... with us. She would turn around and catch him digging a crusty old McDonalds french fry out of one of the many hiding places in the seat to eat and she would have to take it away from him and toss it out the window.
They are pig poos. My wife would come back from a day out with the kids, I’d look at the seat and floor and say “Did they actually get anything down into their stomachs?”
Oldest of 9, we didn’t eat in the car (59 Plymouth wagon, no seatbelts).
We didn’t eat in our 59 Plymouth wagon (with the push button shifter), either, but that was a different era.
since 1995, I’m on my 5th, $1500 vehicle. I’ll be honest and say on average and additional $1500 went into each. so in 27 years I spent $15,000 on transportation. NO Way would I ever spend over 5K on a vehicle. my days of trying to be cool in others eyes are well behind me!! and even then, (My all time favorite ‘77 Cutlass(Mint)) was only $4,500 back in ‘89
Just sayin...
Ya, Mom stayed home and fed us....what a concept!?
9 kids, do ya think we each had our own bedroom?
Sounds like it’s working for you! That was the waterfall grille Cutlass, IIRC. Good look.
When we went to the beach or the park or something, Mom fixed sandwiches, fresh fruit, and Kool-Aid for the Coleman picnic cooler. No fast food ever.
Imagine a “fast food” stop w 9 kids in the car......
Except for Tesla. Musk thinks MBAs ruin companies and he won’t hire them.
Smart guy.
