Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis remains adamant that he will transport illegal immigrants placed in Florida elsewhere, despite the White House recently dismissing a similar proposal from Texas Gov. Greg Abbott as a "publicity stunt."

A spokesperson for DeSantis' office clarified to Fox News Digital that the transport of illegal immigrants out of Florida was included in the governor's recent budget recommendations. The budget proposed by the State Legislature includes $12 million for the Florida Department of Transportation to remove illegal immigrants from Florida and relocating them.

Florida Gov. DeSantis says funds are in place to bus illegal migrants out of his state

I'm genuinely shocked that governors are actually following through on promises to remove illegal aliens from the state. I'm guessing there are some more steps before actual transportation, but I'm still sorry I doubted DeSantis on this one. I'm glad he's trying to make it happen.

DANG!

Send them to Delaware, then ask for more money to send your Criminals to California where they are loved by the politicians...

When the illegals are actually on the buses and leave Florida and Texas, THEN, you can celebrate!

Right, I hate being a downer but l am tired of empty threats on Twitter. It just mobilizes the opposition. These states got no warnings so stop threatening and do it.

Load them on buses get them to sign agreement. Just tell them that’s where the money is. When they get there ask for Pelosi, she’s in charge of the pocketbook.

Four of your suggested cities are in California. Give us a break here. The East Coast sounds like a better destination to me. They tend to think border issues won’t affect them.

I’m wondering why no candidate for federal office anywhere is promising to institute inland enforcement to get these people out of here as soon as they take office.

If these phony asylum seekers hear they will not be allowed to stay maybe they’ll think twice about coming in the first place.

But no one is threatening to do their constitutional duty. They’re just complaining.

State taxpayers shouldn’t have to foot the bill.

The Gov should sue Biden for the money as Biden isn’t properly doing his job, costing the citizens of his State a lot more than just the bus rides.

Yeah but 40 people on a bus don’t cost the taxpayers much. Not sure what a ticket runs these days but I’m sure it’s a good deal, they probably get discount. Youngkin should make sure they are not dropped in VA.

Maybe they can run some trains up? Anyone using amtrack these days?
