Ukrainian forces in Mariupol have been forced to surrender to Russian soldiers as they are run out of ammunition and have been fighting without sufficient food and water for more than a month, according to an Independent report.
A British man who volunteered to fight against Russian soldiers in Ukraine is also among these soldiers who have surrendered after defending Mariupol for weeks.
PBS correspondant Simon Ostrovsky posted a picture of the British volunteer and confirmed that he had surrendered to Russian troops, according to a former squad member.

That is 100% false. Zelensky did not become President until 2019 - he was a comedian in 2014. In fact for much of 2014 there was a pro-Russia government.
Mariupol Defense Group:
501st TB: mostly KIA - the rest surrendered a few days back
503rd Bt
36th NB

There should be a special extra hot place in hell to be reserved for the Putinistas. How anyone could defend such a monster like Vladimir Putin is shocking to me.
SOBR on back of jacket. Looks like Chechens. Wearing helmet flag markings of Tatarstan, Russia. Two units: the 27th and 28th. One guy has a white Apple sticker on his rifle stock.
46th Separate Special Operations Battalion HQ in the area with 22sfB and 810 NB, 150 D surrounding city
Wrong! Poroshenko was President 2014-2019.
Zelensky wasnt a politician in 2014. He was elected in 2019.
Timeline check, dude.
There is nothing to identify the speaker as the Deputy Commander of 46th Azov Bn. Just saying.
Put away the Nazi nonsense and listen. What he says is well worth hearing - of the sacrifices and heroism by the defending soldiers and by the civilians and children.
Russians don’t execute POWs. They just ‘disappear’ them

Régis Le Sommier:
“I just spent 8 days in Ukraine, and I accompanied French volunteers (...), one of whom had been a soldier before and 2 of whom had fought in ‘Rojava’ - so people who had military experience, I spent several days with them, and I was surprised, and so were they, to discover that in order to go into the Ukrainian army, well, it’s the Americans who are in charge. ....
....We almost got arrested, we were confronted with an American who came to tell us ‘here, it’s not the Ukrainians who are in charge, it’s me who is in charge’, - I’m talking about the training and the enrolment of international volunteers in the Ukrainian army. I was extremely surprised by the violence of the words of this American, by the fact that he took us for volunteers at the beginning, when he saw that we were journalists, he first told us to get out, then he was a little more uh [conciliatory?.....
The contract [that he makes the volunteers sign] stipulates that you fight until the end of the war in the Ukrainian army. And who is in charge? Well, it’s the Americans, I saw it with my own eyes. So it’s not the American army officially, obviously, but in this case it’s quite significant.
I had the impression ‘somewhere’ that this war, beyond the romantic aspect, ... I had the impression to be with the international brigades and in fine I find myself with the Pentagon. So this war is a Russian-American war, that’s the bottom of the problem, and the Europeans and everyone else around [the Ukrainians?], it’s a bit on the fringe.

All fun and games until someone gets hurt.
I pray to God that no U.S. soldiers get sent over there.
(General Rachel Levine and SecDef Lloyd Austin are exceptions to this prayer.)
You have it especially wrong. Defending Putin? Are you like from the high-school debate class? Just look at all the horror going on around the world. And somehow, because the media elites shove this in your face you think there is only one way to understand this.
You don’t know what is going on in the world. And neither do I. But I know what is going on is not what the media elites are pushing.
Get a brain, or log off.
Two Ukrainian Battalions surrendered from what I read.
I’m sure there’s plenty of folks on the world stage who would say the same of our Presidents.

That would be tough for Mr. Zelensky to do, he didn’t enter office until May of 2019. In 2014 he was subbing the voice of Paddington Bear for the Ukrainian release of the movie. He was also on the record opposing measures against Russian actors.
Whatever you think of him, he was not politically significant until well after 2014.
Watch a few Patrick Lancaster reports and his interview of residents in war zones. They seem to contradict the "narrative" which you are repeating here.

It’s not about being pro Putin or Pro Zelensky. It’s about who is supporting who and where exactly our business is. Frankly, we have no business there. Let the sort it and keep our noses clean, if things progress or extend beyond that, have another look. Ukraine is not worth defending. There’s good people there, but they let their government be a puppet of the corrupt Biden’s, Klaus, WEF etc. They made their bed, it’s terrible.
What about the frogs?
