The problem with generalization is the professor was on national television making these remarks.
To me it sounded like a French couple who was on a game show and when asked why they came over here just to be on a show they said they would win of course, because Americans are stupid. Now, that was very stupid to say on national television.

I get what you mean. I just hope I don’t smell hypocrisy. Maybe not you, but many on FR.
As it is, I like what she said although it was probably imprudent. She is probably just like me and extremely frustrated with what has transpired especially in the last 2 years, with so much hatred heaped on America and the whites who created it (not the “backs of slaves”, sorry, doesn’t cut it either). Feeling libeled and slandered endlessly.
That was certainly ill-advised for a professor, even if what he said was generally true.
