Hate to say it but: I Told You So.
they’re not called the stupid party for no reason...………...
I’m having to write a check for 5k. He can sit down and shut up.
Ohio is a hotbed of Bush League Republicans.
Almost as bad a South Carolina.
Now to out Vance as a Decepticon.
A Kasich Republican?
In politics you don’t recover from every bad decision. Say goodbye.
His goose is cooked.
Who did Trump endorse in this race?
Hey here’s the message no one will agree with. He’s right. Everyone needs to pay at least something. A huge proportion of the population (and that includes the middle class) pays nothing. In fact, ridiculous amounts of people get “credits” which means they are net negative payers. This will kill him electorally, but everyone wants a pony, and everyone also wants the other guy to pay for it.
Clearly, he forgot which primary he was running in.
He needs a boot in the ass...
Any dirt on Mandel?
He is probably my first choice at this point.
You're so lucky.
Certainly glad the moron came out with his ignorance BEFORE the election...
What an @$$hole
61% of Americans paid no federal income taxes in 2020, Tax Policy Center says
Which means he is correct, the rich are paying for everything currently if 61% are paying nothing.
Tax The Poor!
No, really, tax ‘em. The “Poor” in the US receives numerous financial benefits that do not count as “income,” yet, these people vote and can raie your taxes for more benefits for them.
We need to have a national sales tax.
Actual content of comment was the 45% of people paying no taxes are not paying fair share. Pretty foolish to refer to them as “middle class” as that pisses of people who’s annual tax burden is more than any of their cars are worth.
Too many people believe and agree that corporations don't pay taxes.
If that's true, I say we should tax ONLY corporations and eliminate taxing indivisuals.
Let them once and for all beg Congress for tax relief...when was the last time that happened?
I don’t even get/understand his point. I looked up his quote and he said the top 20% pay 80% or so of taxes. Therefore (not) logically the middle class wasn’t paying its fair share.
But I thought our population was like an inverted “V”. With the wide base at the bottom paying almost ZERO real taxes and the middle still paying a hefty 20-30%. So I’d say the middle class is already paying a Very healthy share.
Is that not correct?
