Elon Musk, who recently joined Twitter’s board of directors, sent a cryptic tweet on Saturday asking whether Twitter is “dying,” coming just days after Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes called Twitter a “ghost town” when asked to comment on Musk’s involvement in the company.
Musk, who recently bought a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter that made him the company’s biggest individual shareholder, on Saturday shared a tweet featuring a list of top accounts on the platform, noting in his caption that they “tweet rarely and post very little content.”
“Is Twitter dying?” Musk asked.
Musk’s surprise move to take a stake in Twitter and later joining its board became one of the biggest tech stories in the past week. The move fueled speculation whether Musk might have plans to shake up the social media giant, whose commitment to free speech he has called into question.
Tweeting to his 80 million-plus followers on March 25, Musk wrote that “free speech is essential to a functioning democracy” and asked his followers whether they believe Twitter “rigorously adheres” to this principle. Over 2 million Twitter users weighed in, with 70.4 percent voting no.
Twitter has been repeatedly accused of censoring some minority and politically conservative viewpoints, claims that the company denies.
Musk’s ascension to Twitter board member was met with calls from prominent conservatives for him to chart a new course at the company.

I read into it as being that Twitter may have been generating content through AI.
Have AI search the internet and find content and then post it according to set paramenters.
Quore seems to be doing the same thing, because I’m getting a lot of content but no real users.

Truth is the first casualty of war. And this war in Ukraine has very little truth. Everything about it looks and sounds like bullshit. At first i thought Russia was losing badly. But then again I went back and looked at some of the videos and I have to ask why did Russia send in it’s 4th string? There is no way in hell those are Russia’s top first string troops. Way too many rookie errors. It’s almost like they are purposely setting the stage for a sucker punch, draw the entire Ukraine army into a trap and slaughter them all by giving them way too much confidence. Or are they going to lure the Nato/US forces in Poland into Belarus or Russia?
I just can’t believe the news telling us Russia has just lost badly and it’s over. Because if that were so, why have we feared them for so long???
Dunno about a ghost town, but it’s certainly enough of a putrid sewer to keep any sane person well away.

There has been a trend on Truth where prominent people make identical posts at twitter and Truth. The interaction on their Truth posts are 3-4 times what they are on twitter. They are saying Truth may be smaller at this time, the engagement is far greater.

Hopefully, we will see masses of left wing rectums leaving
twitter to avoid what may be coming due to what they did during the elections and other issues.
Indeed that is the case., and their twitter accounts have many times more followers than their still in beta Truth Social accounts, yet every time they get many times greater engagement with the Truth Social Post.

I don’t have access to any of Truth Social’s financials, or any more information about the extraordinary engagement numbers, compared to Twitter in spite of the seemingly much larger audience, beyond what Devin and pals share in their frequent updates. Lots of experiments are being run with the same posts on Truth and on Twitter, and Twitter every time is getting a fraction of the engagement, in spite of the posts being made from accounts with many times larger follower audiences. (Seemingly due to automated censorship on Twitter.)
I can tell Truth Social is still beta sometimes, as posts will lag on occasion under peak loads and other oddities, like posting a truth, have it seem to post, then just be gone like it never happened, only to allow me to repost the same thing with no trouble a little later. Or instead, it will just show up after a while. Sometimes my history doesn’t show, again during peak stress times. Then it comes back fine. These issues are becoming less frequent.
The follow and following parts seem quite solid. Always available, always responsive. If I post something and someone follows me, I’ll check their posts out a bit and follow back UNLESS they are one of the 5 or 10 people out of more than 1500 so far that have something to sell (Black Rifle Coffee Co. Woke CEO 👎) or they have no posted Truths to yet to judge them by. Plus two or three that didn’t seem serious, or perhaps weirdly serious... 🤭
Still waiting for Gifs to work, and for the web service to be turned on, and then they will do the Android app. Still lots of work to be done, because NONE of it is being done on services beholding to Big Groomer supporting Tech.

They are using a 3rd party Artificial Intelligence driven “Salty Language Filter” named K’AI’ren, to try to spot things that need a “Click to See” cover to keep things family friendly. Everyone treats the cover like gift wrapping, and there are a few clever ways to trigger K’AI’ren needlessly and hilariously. 🤣
She’s also a work in progress.
Unless Trump is not on the very actively posting team as Devin, Don Jr., Kash Patel and the rest I think any noise about him dropping Truth Social and making Getter his choice instead, is pretty suspect.
President Trump IS a red checked account.

That’s his only “Truth” there so far. I hope he’ll be back when the Web part is in place, but he may not post again until the Android part is in place as well. He’s following @truthsocial.
Perhaps I can convey what it’s like. Back in the day, before we had social media we had internal forums at IBM, about anything and everything tech. Amazing talent, skills, knowledge and help, at any IBMer’s fingertips, in real time, all intentionally on the same “Make IBM Great” page. (IBM eventually killed it.) What took it’s place was never the same, and neither was IBM. That one move killed the joy of “no walls” working together across the company, in my view.
Truth Social feels like that did to me back before that happened, only mostly with God fearing Patriots, on a Mission. And it’s already busier.
After what just happened to Disney, it might just be the new “Happiest Place On Earth”.
