The groups bringing the challenge against Greene’s candidacy describe it as “a national campaign to ensure that election officials across the country follow the mandate of Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment and
bar elected officials who engaged in the insurrection,
including former President Donald Trump,
from appearing on any future ballot.”

I didn’t know that George Soros was a resident of Georgia’s 14th Congressional District.

How can you have a rebellion if nobody has been charged with insurrection? And if you don’t have a rebellion then how can you invoke the 14th Amendment?

The challenge to Greene's candidacy is being brought by residents of Georgia's 14th Congressional District, which she represents. The legal effort is being
spearheaded by a nonpartisan legal advocacy group, Free Speech for People, and a progressive political action group, Our Revolution.
The left cannot win on their IDEAS, so they have to go the lawfare route.
So sick of these thugs.

If what happened on January 6, 2021, counts as an insurrection, then what about the BLM riots of Summer 2020?

These people have no standing, the court should throw it out. In addition the complaint is a political question - the plaintiff can campaign on that and let the people, fake ballots and all the dead demonikraps to decide. Greene has neither been charged nor convicted of insurrection (don’t be surprised if Snake Garland jumps in here).
But tossing garbage cases like this an then charging the plaintiffs attorneys for bringing frivolous lawsuits ... that happened when the country called the USA had and followed a Constitution and there was equal justice under the law. We are a lot closer to banana republic, Venezuela legal system now.
