{SNIP} The Russian invasion of Ukraine resulted from two immense strategic blunders, Robert Service says. The first came on Nov. 10, when the U.S. and Ukraine signed a Charter on Strategic Partnership, which asserted America’s support for Kyiv’s right to pursue membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The pact made it likelier than ever that Ukraine would eventually join NATO—an intolerable prospect for Vladimir Putin. “It was the last straw,” Mr. Service says. Preparations immediately began for Russia’s so-called special military operation in Ukraine. {SNIP}

Yes. It's no different than a thief entering your house in order to steal your possessions because the possessions are valuable and he wants to take them from you and appropriate them for his own use. It's that simple.

Not just Hunter, but Pelosi’s son, Kerry’s son, Romney’s son, all that brain power and business acumen, yet Ukraine remains dirt poor.
Hard to fathom what is wrong with that resource rich country
I have to agree with you. There is a lot we do not know about the Ukraine situation and Biden’s involvement. Of course the media has no interest in finding out if Biden is involved in anyway.

Uh, yeah. Ahem:
"The problem with trying to make a distinction between “biodefense” and “biowarfare” is that, basically, there is none. No biodefense research is purely defensive, because to do biodefense work, you’re automatically engaged in the creation of biological weapons, and all dual use research can be used for military purposes. SARS-CoV-2 may be the result of such dual use research.Bioweapons Expert Speaks Out About US Biolabs in Ukraine
Ukraine’s strategic blunder was allowing itself to be the channel for DC grifters grifting off the US taxpayer using Ukraine as the reason for the grift.
Good ole Joe needs a at to Dave him
You're neglecting all the CINO turncoats here for whom I wear a backplate.

Rioiight. A world wide NAZI cult. Is it Hitler or Mengele in charge?
The author writes:
The second strategic error was Mr. Putin’s underestimation of his rivals. “He despises the West and what he sees as Western decadence,” Mr. Service says. “He had come to believe that the West was a shambles, both politically and culturally.” He also thought that the leaders of the West were “of poor quality, and inexperienced, in comparison with himself. After all, he’s been in power 20 years.”
In Mr. Putin’s cocksure reckoning, the invasion was going to be “a pushover—not just in regard to Ukraine, but in regard to the West.” He’d spent four years “running rings around Donald Trump, ” and he thought the retirement of German Chancellor Angela Merkel left the West rudderless.
This is all breathtaking twaddle. Indeed, much of Putin's views are shared by us here. But he didn't run rings around Trump and Merkel was hardly a Churchill in her own time.
Speaking of Ukraine
Look what I saw burried in this vid.
Spanish flu dug up from permafrost and gain of function in ukrain.
And Bill
And the end of chicken and eggs for food.
And a host of the usual suspects and subjects.
.
Mmm no.
1 would be Putin’s addiction to defining himself in opposition to the west
and 2 would be his thinking he could demand the right to pick and choose a sovereign nation’s allies
There’s really no good reason for him to be uptight about NATO. And if he really didn’t want Ukraine to join he should have been a good ally.
Show us on a map where the permafrost is located in Ukraine....
It’s common knowledge that Trump was impeached for trying to turn over the rocks our, now, Ukrainian hero partners and DC oligarchs were hiding under. You can not come to this site and make the point that Russia has any legitimate security interests anywhere in world, especially on their border 300 miles from Moscow. Only a Putin stooge would even contemplate such heresy.
Never said there was permafrost in Ukraine.
That’s an ‘ and’ , not an ‘ in ‘.
Yeah that’s kinda what I did....just disengaged and went about my business.
My wife thinks he was just trying to wind me up but there was too much raw hatred for that.
It’s his bucket of doodoo to lug around not mine.....and I ain’t volunteering to help.
I am certain that the American Press with carefully investigate your areas of concern. Chuck Todd will devote most of Sunday morning discussing these points.
Seriously, we are on the brink of nuclear war because the press covered up an election stolen by the Biden mafia.
