“Just look at China for a very good example of the internet as used for extreme totalitarian control and propaganda purposes - parts of which all governments are doing to some degree.”

You don’t have to look at China, just look here at home. China got a lot of its ideas from our corporations

Our corporations invented the social credit system. You will be banned, fired, demonized, exiled if you don’t toe their pc line. And that’s been going for much longer than China’s social credit system.

I have to use the minus sign on Twitter when trying to research stocks. There is so much spam. I wish Musk would do something about it. It is impossible to block all those who are ticker spamming your stocks

He doesn’t regret anything.

He’s a liar and would do anything to fight the good.

Well, he is probably afraid of Elon Musk. Now that he is the largest stockholder in Twitter. And on the board.

We shall see.

Question? Will Web3 be an improvement or more of the same evil perversion?

Yes, or the search returns the views directly opposite of what you searched for. (canned Propaganda)

Gotta admit Dorsey is a lot more clever than Mark Zuckerberg.

Respectfully disagree.

Zuckerberg cornered the market on the ability to track every movement of individuals - whether or not they're Fascistbook users.

It is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to not be tracked by Fascistbook, whether or not one has an "account" there.

Fascistbook can track all your activity across all your devices without you even knowing about it. That's Mark Zuckerberg's doing.

Jack Dorsey couldn't do that. His "contribution" to the centralization of the Internet was Twatter. Which BTW sends its data to Zuckerberg for correlation, associating and fingerprinting Twatter and Fascistbook users together.

Zuckerberg is clever. And evil.

Dorsey is just evil.

Agree. I think Elon Musk will take care of that job.

Both of your points are totally correct.

I remember when the web was fun and exciting.

Then it was bought. Now it is all Lies and Propaganda.

It will provide much more privacy than the current version of the web. Which is why it will be demonized by government.

Nice hiding place?

I’m there. In Rural Texas. In the middle of the Big Nothing.

But we have some work to do, we have outsiders who are stealing everything not nailed down.

But we will deal with that.
