COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado—The U.S. intelligence community asked certain commercial satellite companies for help in the earliest days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and their imagery remains vital to countering Russia’s false claims, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence said Tuesday. But the partnership raises new questions about what protections those firms might be owed if their actions make them a target.
“Early on, we also asked a few commercial companies….and those of you who helped know who you are, helped us to rapidly make available imagery like the buildup that was happening around Ukraine’s borders to help shed a light on what Russia was doing,” Stacey Dixon, principal deputy director of national intelligence, said at the Space Symposium on Tuesday. “This allowed others to independently interpret the images, piecing them together with other information, and tell the world what was about to happen.”
Commercial imagery firms have documented the invasion of Ukraine like no previous war. HawkEye 360 has tracked Russian counter-space activities such as jamming. Maxar has documented Russia’s troop buildup and brutality on the Ukrainian people—on Monday, exposing mass graves in Bucha....

"It’s a wake up call,” Kendall said. Russia’s invasion has underscored “the value of space capabilities. You’re seeing their value in terms of getting the truth out. You’re seeing their value in terms of enabling the fierce resistance that the Ukrainians are putting up…."
So where were the No Such Agency’s Keyhole satellites?
Do all 17 agencies agree?
They are still there, but you won’t see those products. For better or worse, however, there are commercial space imagery sources now and in a lot of respects, the free world can get access to equivalent pictures.
Doesn't matter, Putin FReepers going say it was manipulated and all the surviving witnesses are lying. Nothing will change their mind.
.
The video of "corpses moving" has been debunked, even Kremlin isn't using that excuse.
One claim, suggesting a dead victim's "arm appears to move" as the car moves past it, has been debunked by independent OSINT analysts, who point out that the movement is in fact a raindrop on the screen of the camera, as can be seen with an inverted channel version of the footage.
Similarly, the claim that a body can be seen "rising" in a rear view mirror is just a trick of the eye: the curvature of the concave mirror acts to enlarge objects as they are reflected in it, as can be seen milliseconds later, with other objects also appearing to enlarge briefly.

like the FBI helped debunk the pee dossier and FISA abuse???
LOL

That’s alright, plenty around here still love the facts man, just the facts..;0)
excellent gif,thanks
the corpse arm movement (as if he gonna light a cigarette) is very clear.I can see other movement but am unsure if the corpse stood up ..
Same people who ‘proved’ that the Russians were behind Hunter’s laptop, I presume.
American intelligence agencies lie...its in theheir job description.
Uh huh, nothing else is moving around in that mirror. Everyone knows fact checkers don't lie.
Its kind of silly to argue the bodies are "actors" when reporters from many countries have visited Bucha and seen the bodies. Its why even the Kremlin isn't using the "actors" excuse anymore, they are blaming the victims on the Ukrainians, contradicting testimony from surviving witnesses.
These claims, seemingly sourced from pro-Russian social media users, were rapidly and thoroughly debunked by reporters and social media users, including BBC Monitoring’s Shayan Sardarizadeh.
Sardarizadeh highlighted the work of Aurora Intel which examined the “moving hand” claim and demonstrated it was more likely a water droplet moving across the windscreen.
It is also notable that the version of the video shared on social media by people claiming a hand can be seen moving cuts out the moment before and after the droplet moves over the body. This appears to misleadingly strengthen the impression of a hand movement, as detailed in the below post by Sardarizadeh.
The supposed moving corpse reflected in a car’s wing mirror, meanwhile, can be easily explained by the warping of the reflection, which also visibly affects other objects around the corpse.

Latest Defence Intelligence update on Ukraine - 5 April 2022
Analysis of satellite imagery dated 21 March 2022 shows at least 8 bodies identified lying in a street in Bucha, Kyiv Oblast. Bucha was occupied by the Russian armed forces until 31 March 2022.
They show us a picture of twenty trucks, and tell us we’re looking at a 40-mile caravan of tanks. And everybody believes them.
Original Russian column was just over 3 miles long. It ended up stretching 40 miles.
Satellite images show more than three-mile-long Russian military column on roadway to Kyiv
So how many trucks were really in the column? They showed a picture of 25 trucks in about a quarter mile, leading the viewer to conclude there were around 4000 tanks. Every network says “You’re looking at the 40-mile caravan.”
No, I’m looking at a pic of 25 trucks.
Maybe American woke military experts were concentrating on things other than military targets, possibly correct pronouns for Lbgtq combat troops.
