U.S. Rep. Ted Budd has a double-digit lead in the Republican primary to replace retiring U.S. Sen. Richard Burr, a poll released Tuesday shows.
Budd, a three-term congressman representing North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District, leads former Gov. Pat McCrory by 16 percentage points among likely voters, according to the poll, which was conducted by Emerson College and the news outlet The Hill.
A total of 36% of Republicans who were surveyed said they would vote for Budd in the May 17 primary election, while 22% said they would vote for McCrory, who served as governor from 2013 to 2017. Former U.S. Rep. Mark Walker received 9% in the poll, while military veteran Marjorie Eastman received 1%. Twenty-three percent of Republicans said they were still undecided, roughly five weeks before the primary.

I’m glad to see Walker dropping. He’s being paid to stay in the race to help McCrory (no proof but self-evident).
Well, it is easy to choose when Trump makes an endorsement.
“A picture is worth a thousand words.”
He really has to stop endorsing Bush Leaguers.
This is a good endorsement, I meant the bad ones like Amnesty Senator Rubio and Boozman from Arkansas.

Definitely agree on Rubio!
EXCELLENT! Burr was a deep state RINO stooge - and corrupt on top of that. Our other Senator here in North Carolina, Tillis is an open borders RINO. We need to start with one good Senator and I believe Budd will be. Unfortunately, we will have to wait 4 more years to get rid of Tillis.
We also need to get rid of our awful Democrat governor who stands in the way of election integrity, constitutional carry, and much else that North Carolina needs.
Every time I see that picture I imagine that it was taken right after Romney took them to Costco and treated them to dress shirts.
Ted Budd gets My votes.
He answers His own District Office phone when He’s there (at 06:45) and when I told Him My name He knew who I was and why I was calling.
Find ANY OTHER Politician that does that !!!
