** Putin is no hero, certainly, but this blatant, insane propaganda manipulation by the US is going to backfire and will actually make him more popular among Russians. **
You are more accurate than you perhaps know. I’ve seen an internet poll with 1/3 of the votes in favor of using tactical nuclear weapons. This is not a good idea but a good symptom.
“AZOV is only a battalion sized unit 1500-2000 men.”
I have never heard of a 2,000 troop battalion. Hell, it’s rare that a battalion is half that size. But, maybe Ukraine does things differently.
Just going by the various estimates that floated around in the last year or two. The one estimate I saw last fall only estimated their strength at 900-950. Regardless they are not a big unit and not nearly as big or widely deployed as some are suggesting.
Paul Joseph Watson and Summit News = propaganda
Better advice can NOT be given. Unfortunately, it will be ignored.
I am amazed here the level of media propaganda and Neocon support here from those who should know better.
There will be many false flags to draw the US into this quagmire.
Modern Americans are very gullible. The Millennials have not been taught critical thinking. They are bundles of emotion, with much cognitive dissonance. Not acquainted with rational thinking. Dependent on psych drugs.
Virtue signaling is their only means of coping. Led around by the nose by social media. A herd of sheep.
The Biden followers fit this profile.
How I wish that Trump was still President!
Many here on FR unfortunately.

There are more nazis than just Azov.
How I wish that Trump was still President! “
There’d be no war to distract from Biden’s ineptitude...
An analysis of satellite images by The New York Times rebuts claims by Russia that the killing of civilians in Bucha, a suburb of Kyiv, occurred after its soldiers had left the town.
When images emerged over the weekend of the bodies of dead civilians lying on the streets of Bucha — some with their hands bound, some with gunshot wounds to the head — Russia’s Ministry of Defense denied responsibility. In a Telegram post on Sunday, the ministry suggested that the bodies had been recently placed on the streets after “all Russian units withdrew completely from Bucha” around March 30.
But a review of videos and satellite imagery by The Times shows that many of the civilians were killed more than three weeks ago, when Russia’s military was in control of the town.

There are pitiful Nazis everywhere even in Russia. If you are going to condemn the Ukrainians and blame every horrible thing on Nazis within their ranks, you had better have some concrete facts and figures to back up what you are saying. All I keep hearing is AZOV, AZOV, AZOV which makes them seem like a huge army rampaging through Ukraine and framing the “peace loving” Russian military. Nobody presents any factual evidence that this is happening just innuendo and say so, which in the end are meaningless. There is plenty of independently provided evidence that the Russians have willingly done horrible things in Ukraine and they hardly are the victims of some mysterious New World Order conspiracy theory.
Do you seriously think Ukraine has not committed the same atrocities?
A country that relies on neo-Nazis to do its fighting would lie? Shocking!
I echo your sentiments
1. This was definitely not staged. Putin’s army did these atrocities
2. I don’t support American boots on the ground or American planes in the air over Ukraine
Note also that there was no “Azov in Kyiv “ until now. They were always reported by Russiansas being in mariupol
However, I don’t like being lied to by my govt. or the media. There’s propaganda coming from both sides, but some freepers, who are apparently advocating for American boots on the ground at this point, are blithely accepting whatever the mainstream media reports.
You’d think, after 4 years of Russiagate and 2 years of Covid/vaccine panic because of media manipulation, they’d have enough common sense to verify the media stories instead of believing a word they wrote. It’s called “thinking for yourself,” which is obviously too hard for most ppl.
It was one of the first events that showed just how vulnerable armor was to modern man-portable AT weapons.
Look at all the fried Russian armor in the recent Bucha videos, and the huge turrent flipping contests they had. That’s trademark Javelin damage.
Unfortunately, once the UA Javelin ambushers had stopped that advance toward Kyiv, leaving the carnage of armor for the Russians to deal with, the Javelin ambush teams had to move to other areas to stop other, similar advances on Kyiv and couldn’t stick around in Bucha.
That’s when the atrocities started. The Russians survivors had lost their transport in the battle of Bucha, and they were forced to remain there until they could somehow crawl out. And they were not in a good mood. They straggled out of that area desperately looking for other Russian troops to rescue them, shooting any Bucha citizen they saw on the way.
Just conjecture, but conjecture based on following this invasion closely since the first day.
Agreed.
