Cuba along with every other Central and South American Country plus many other foreign countries, will use this situation to empty out their prisons, mental hospitals, and every other misfit in their countries and dump them into the USA.
If you look at it from their perspective, it’s a logical thing for them to do, get rid of their undesirables and let the USA deal with them.

If you remember back after the Mariel Boat lift crime in South Florida and other places skyrocketed along with the cocaine import business and crime that created.
If something similar happens this year, it will make the mariel boat lift look childs play, crime will explode all along the border even worse than now and in big cities it will be a war zone, not only will these places get flooded by criminals but most of these cities gutted their police forces.

Almost none of the people fleeing Cuba since 1980 are Conservatives.
The first wave of Cubans that fled in 1960 were mostly European expatriates. They were the business owners and professional class of Cuba. In 1960, Cuba was the most prosperous country in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The 1960 Cubans were Conservatives.
Since 1980, almost all Cuban immigrants have African or Caribbean ancestry.
The current Cuban immigrants are NOT Conservatives.
The greatest concentration of recent Cuban immigrants is in the New York City metro area. They vote 70%-75% Democrat.
Then they elect Amnesty Senators like Rubio who want to abandon the rule of law and surrender the country to illegal aliens.
