I’m wondering why anyone could be charged with fraud in a case like this. It’s not like the government goes after panhandlers who spend the money the collect from donors on booze and cigarettes.

GoFundMe is nothing more than an electronic panhandling platform. Anyone who donates money that way — in the absence of any formal legal recognition for a charity — has no reason to expect their contributions to be spent wisely.

Meanwhile I’m falling very short on my dogs vet bills while they got rich
I’ve gone the extra mile, offering to show the vet bills and even giving the hospital’s name and number for direct donations.

Only the evil seem to win nowadays.

Maybe I should have lied and said my dog was homeless.
