Garland has to be mindful of another J6 investigation from which the NYT is blissfully exempt: the one to come in the new House. Journalists don’t face malicious prosecution lawsuits.
Yet some middle class, law abiding Americans stroll into the Capitol building, a totally legal act, they are called "Insurrectionists". One of them was even murdered by a Negro hot shot LEO who has yet to be prosecuted.
We were all raised with "justice is blind", "equal justice under the law". That no longer exists. The ballot box no longer exists as sacrosanct. Our representatives in Washington do the work of oligarchs and foreign governments, and not the people's business. The Federal government treats the middle class as the enemy. Are we kidding ourselves? Do we still have a Republic?

Last I heard, there were no formal charges lodged against the arrested and imprisoned defendants. Has that changed?
