Does anyone have a good answer as to WHY people run for ANY office? Power sure and in a lot of cases money to go with the power but what NORMAL person would want to live a life that’s basically “on the road” all the time? A home here, a home there - fly back and forth. Sure the job is easy as they don’t even pretend to care about the country or the people in it but how egotistical do they have to be to believe they can make a difference? Also how damaged that they don’t have a desire to live like other people live - a normal life, home, family etc.?
One of the many things I just don’t understand.
