You have to wonder what great disconnect happened in the minds of conservatives who are agitating for war with Russia. Given their rhetoric, war is what they’re flirting with. Putin, per the invective, is a butcher, war criminal, Hitler clone, and madman. They want Putin exiled to Siberia or dead. They want a no-fly zone and Russian convoys bombed. Regime change in Russia is a must. Ukrainians alone aren’t going to make that happen. We must do more, they insist.

Biden desperately wants to be a war leader because he thinks it puts him in elevated company like FDR. The weird thing is that we are NOT at war. We are not at war with Russia or Ukraine, yet all the rhetoric and actions like releasing oil is designed to make Americans think we are at war.
Well, ‘he’ is leading the U.S. into extinction. So, there is that kind of leadership.
He’s not a leader of anything, as far as I can tell. I suspect Jill is the leader in their family.

Bill Clinton once remarked to a friend that his greatest regret was that he wasn’t a war president (I guess the bombing of Serbia wasn’t enough). As you alluded to, Clinton thought to a great president you had to be a war president. I suspect Bush II and Obama felt the same way.
Trump was shining exception to that.

The only reason that anyone on the Right would be -realtively speaking - greatful for Biden is because bigger kooks amongst the “Lincoln Project conservatives” could possibly be in the office of the President. That faction already poisoned a whole generation of Americans against voting Republican due to foreign policy adventures in Iraq and Afghanistan. The the Dems be responsible for the next unnecessary war for a change.
Biden is on the verge of getting us into WWIII to protect the corrupt regime that was greasing his palms through his drug addict son. And our vocal cabal of Biden supporting manly armchair warrior generals are calling anyone who objects bizarre names. Brilliant, just brilliant!
