I know it’s a bad idea, but what is title 42?
The Trump administration implemented the Title 42 order in March 2020,
characterizing the measure as an emergency safeguard to prevent
the spread of infection inside detention cells, border stations and other crowded settings.
The program allows the US Border Patrol and US Customs to prohibit
the entry of persons who potentially pose a health risk by being subject
to previously-announced travel restrictions or because by unlawfully entering
the country to bypass health-screening measures.
Manchin is doing the right thing. You got it all wrong.
“...spur us [Congress] to get a good immigration policy that works for Americans, secure our borders.”
Hey, why not just enforce immigration law already on the books and finish the wall. That works for Americans. I bet anything, that idiot has a door to his office to keep people out, and it works beautifully.
When a politician speaks about a good immigration policy, it means just one thing — amnesty for untold millions of illegals.
I support the amnesty of every illegal immigrant who can get a pro-amnesty legislator to self-deport permanently in their place. Amnesty is a reward for lawbreakers—not only the ones who entered the country illegally, but also the politicians who refused to enforce the laws for many, many years.
Since the top levels of federal administration are allowing these people to come in, and distributing them throughout the nation, can we still call them illegals?
